Trip Mileage Tracker2.7.1

Trip Mileage Tracker: Auto log trips, miles, and expenses for business tax deductions and audits.

The Professional Solution for Automatic Mileage Tracking and Tax Deductions

Stop losing money on missed mileage claims. Trip Mileage Tracker is a reliable digital logbook for drivers, freelancers, and business owners. Whether tracking miles for IRS tax deductions, company reimbursements, or expense management, our app provides a seamless experience. Advanced motion-sensing technology ensures every trip is recorded accurately with high-precision GPS.

Intelligent Automatic Trip Detection & Background Logic

The core of Trip Mileage Tracker is our smart motion-sensing engine. The app triggers automatically once your driving speed exceeds 20 km/h. By utilizing high-precision location services, the app identifies the start of your journey. To ensure 100% accuracy, the app operates efficiently in the background. Once you reach your destination and stop, the system intelligently waits for a brief period to confirm the trip has ended before capturing the final location and closing the log. By keeping the app active in your background, you ensure every mile is captured with 99% accuracy, even on long journeys or in areas with fluctuating signal.

Custom Mileage Rates & Instant Reimbursement Calculation

Every country and company has different standards, which is why we offer total flexibility. You can add and edit custom mileage rates based on your specific region or organizational policy. Whether following the IRS (USA), HMRC (UK), CRA (Canada), or ATO (Australia) guidelines, you can input the exact rate per mile or kilometer. Trip Mileage Tracker allows you to differentiate every journey between Personal and Business with a simple selection. Based on your chosen category and custom rate, the app automatically calculates the total reimbursement value for every trip. This data is displayed in the trip details, giving you an instant view of your earnings and deductible expenses.

Manual Logging & Instant Start Options

While our automation is world-class, we understand sometimes you need manual control. If you ever miss a trip or need to document a journey from the past, our Manual Trip Logging feature allows you to input details easily. For users who prefer immediate control of a specific journey, the app also features an Instant Start option. This allows you to manually trigger tracking at the exact moment you begin your drive, providing a perfect balance between automated convenience and manual precision.

Comprehensive Reports & Vehicle Management

Generate professional PDF reports with a single tap. These reports meet official standards for tax filings, audit protection, and corporate reimbursement claims. View your full history including total distance, duration, trip costs, and fuel expenses in a clear format ready for your accountant. Our integrated fuel log and expense tracker also allow you to record gas station visits, toll payments, and maintenance fees to give a complete financial overview of your vehicle's business usage.
